Philadelphia banned landlords from using software to coordinate rents. The ban took effect in February 2025. In July 2026, renter Yiyao Liu sued Willow Bridge Property Company and RealPage in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. The complaint says rent at Vue 32 and Rittenhouse Row was set with non-public competitor data. These are allegations. No court has decided the case in this note.
Related complaints filed the same week name Bozzuto, Greystar, RealPage, and Yardi. People searching this are usually tenants asking whether their own building used the same kind of software, or landlords asking what the ordinance covers.
